There are 3,500 calories in 1 lb. of fat...

So in order to lose 1 lb of fat a week you need to decrease your calorie balance by  
500 calorie each day.

Here are some ideas about how to get your daily 500 calories 
* running 30 minutes = 300 calories (depending on your size)
* 1 cup of ice cream= 260 calories
* 6 oreos = 300 calories
