About me...
I have 10 years of experience working in the health/fitness field:
I have my bachelors degree in Lifestyle Management with emphasis in Fitness and Health. I am currently 17 credits away from having my Master in Sports Condition & Performance.
I have worked in many different gyms in 3 different states as a; personal trainer, aerobics instructor, and manager.
I have worked in corporate wellness programs.
I spent a summer working at weight lose camp for kids.
I have helped many post-surgery heart patience get back into shape with cardiac rehab.
I have helped train many local top athletes in a sports training program.
I have conducted different summer fitness fun classes for young girls.
One thing I have learned through all these years - their are way to many people out their who do not know what they are doing (some call their selfs "personal trainers" yet they have NO real education in the field) & people are actually paying them to teach them! Yeaks!
I have started this site to help share the information I have learned and continue to learn about health and fitness. In hopes that I might help someone to become happier in their life. It will also be my resource as I work to get my Master's.
My goal...
My goal has always been: to help people to become happier.
Everything that brings happiness to my life involves some sort of fitness and good health. At the age of 19 I noticed this was true. That is when I decided - I wanted to help people become happier by becoming healthier. That is what I have tried to do over the past 10 years.
I love every minute of my life & I am so grateful to a heavenly father who has enabled me able to be fit and healthy and achieve many amazing things with this body!
